Early 1900's South America Pull Down Classroom Map

Check out this incredible antique Bacon's Standard Map of South America that was manufactured by the Weber Costello Company. This wonderfully aged map is printed on a canvas material and comes with the original wooden rod. This map would look great hanging in your library or study or would serve as a great educational work of art in your child's bedroom!

Additional details:

Measurements (with wooden rod): Approximately 47.75" Long x 41.5” wide
Circa: 1920's

Item Condition: Great antique condition! Colors remain bold and vivid. Map remains firmly attached to wooden rod. Due to the fragile nature of the map you'll just need to take caution when unrolling it. Surface of map has light soilage from years and years of use. Canvas has some normal wear such as wrinkles, bends, frayed edges, light soilage, spotting, etc. Bottom of the map shows some significant wear, such as wrinkling, light liquid damage and a few areas where the paper map material has worn away, exposing the canvas material below. We tend to think that each of these minor flaws adds to the overall wonderful antique look of this piece. Please take a gander at the pictures for further details.
