1980's Southeast Asia & Australia Pull Down Classroom Map

Check out this sweet vintage school wall map of Southeast Asia and Australia that was printed in Chicago, Illinois by A.J Nystrom & Co. This wonderful map is printed on a heavy "markable" paper material and comes with the original metal bracket which still works and is very easy to mount. Chart still rolls up and down fluidly and its original wooden rod is attached firmly to the bottom of the chart. Attached to the wooden rod is a metal pull hook. This map would look great hanging in your library or study or would serve as a great educational work of art in your child's bedroom!

On the bottom of the map are three smaller maps of the area detailing the annual rainfall amounts, distribution of people and land utilization.

Item Condition: Wonderful vintage condition! Paper has no holes or tears. Has some normal wear due to years of use (i.e. wrinkles, bends, etc) but no rips or tears! Map is lightly soiled here and there above the wooden rod. Since this is a markable map there's a very good chance this can be removed with some warm soap and water.
