1940's Trubyte New Hue Dental Vitality Scale

Check out this spectacular vintage 1940's Trubyte New Hue Dental Vitality Scale, which was manufactured in the U.S.A.by the Dentists' Supply Co of New York. This scale would have been used by dentists to match the tooth colors of their patients. Attached to the scale are 12 teeth of varying hues which are attached to removable metal picks. Each hue corresponds to a certain age range starting with " To Age 21" and ending with "Age Over 70." You'll find similar modern dentistry tools like this still in use today! Would be a cool piece to add to your cabinet o' curiosities.

Measurements: 3.5" Wide (from tip of bottom tooth to tip of bottom tooth) x 2.25 Tall (from base to top of center tooth).

Item Condition - Great vintage condition! Teeth are in great shape! Metal picks slide easily into/out of scale. Scale shows some wear such as minor scuffing/scratching and some light soilage. There are two teeth that appear to be of the same hue (both labeled tooth #60) which leads us to believe that one may have been replaced over the years. Please refer to the pictures for further details.

Shipping Fees: In the event we find that we overcharged you once the item has been shipped we will immediately refund all shipping overage charges in excess of $2.
