1980's South Asia & Middle East Pull Down Classroom Map

Check out this sweet vintage school wall map of South Asia and the Middle East that was printed in the USA by Rand McNally & Co. This wonderful map is printed on a heavy "markable" paper material and comes with the original metal bracket which is very easy to mount. Chart still rolls up and down and its original metal rod is attached firmly to the bottom of the chart. Attached to the metal rod is a metal pull hook. This map would look great hanging in your library or study or would serve as a great educational work of art in your child's bedroom!

Item Condition: Great vintage condition! Has some minor wear due to years of use (i.e. a few minor wrinkles, creases, etc). Map pulls up and down however we noticed that when pulled down it does not properly lock into place. The good news is that when pulled down we've found the map remains down however you may have to try a few times before it remains in place. Map rolls up a little sluggishly and we needed to roll the last 6 inches or so up by hand. Colors are still wonderfully bold and vivid! Since this is a markable map there's a very good chance this can be removed with some warm soap and water. Please refer to the pictures for further details!
